What We Look After

Six things we run for you, and one we build in.

You can buy these separately, and some clients start that way. Most end up taking the lot, because the value is in one team seeing the whole picture rather than three suppliers each seeing a corner of it.

Day-to-day support

The laptop that will not wake up, the mailbox that has stopped syncing. You get a named engineer who already knows your setup, so you never explain your business twice.

Cloud & Azure

Half your systems moved to the cloud. Nobody is sure which half, or why. We move what is worth moving, leave the rest alone, and look after what we have built.

Microsoft 365

Licences you are paying for, and settings nobody has touched since setup. We keep it tidy, secure, and shaped around how your business actually works.

Networks & communications

The Wi-Fi drops in the far meeting room and everyone has learned to live with it. The plumbing everything depends on, designed properly and kept in good order.

Cyber Security

Protection built in from the first day, not sold to you later as an upgrade. Cyber Essentials, monitoring, email defence and training, managed as one thing.

Included: Named engineer · agreed response targets · monthly reporting

Most firms your size call an IT company and get whoever is free. That person reads a note, asks what your setup is, and starts from nothing — while your fee earner sits waiting.

We give you one engineer who knows your systems and your people, and an agreed response target we report against whether we hit it or not. When they are away, the person covering has the same notes, not a blank screen.

Cloud & Azure

Half your systems moved to the cloud. Nobody is sure which half, or why.

Included: Written migration plan · out-of-hours cutover · monthly cost review

Cloud migrations tend to happen in pieces, driven by whoever sold you something. The result is a bill nobody can explain and a setup nobody owns.

We start by writing down what you actually run and what it costs. Then we move the things that are better off moved, out of hours, with the old system still standing until the new one is proven.

Microsoft 365

Licences you are paying for, and settings nobody has touched since setup.

Included: Licence audit · leaver process · sharing and retention rules

Microsoft 365 grows by accident. Licences get bought for leavers, permissions get widened to fix a problem and never narrowed again, and SharePoint becomes a place files go to be lost.

We audit what you are paying for, remove what you are not using, and set the sharing and retention rules the way a professional firm needs them. Teams and SharePoint get a structure people can actually find things in.

Backup & disaster recovery

A backup that runs every night and has never once been restored.

Included: Copies held separately · scheduled restore tests · agreed recovery time

Almost every business has backups. Far fewer have ever tried to restore from them, which means the first test is the day it matters — and that is when people find out the last twelve months were writing to a disk nobody checked.

We hold your copies separately from your live systems, restore from them on a schedule, and agree a recovery time with you in advance. If we cannot meet it, you hear that from us before you need it.

IT consultancy & strategy

Every IT decision made in a hurry, because something broke.

Included: Asset and renewal register · three-year budget · quarterly business review

When technology only gets attention in an emergency, every choice is a reaction. Equipment gets replaced the week it dies, at whatever price is available that week.

We put your kit, contracts and renewal dates on one page, then plan the spending across the years rather than the panics. Four times a year we sit down and go through what changed.

Networks & communications

The Wi-Fi drops in the far meeting room and everyone has learned to live with it.

Included: Documented network · monitored connectivity · phones on the same contract

Networks are usually inherited rather than designed — a switch added here, an access point there. It works until the day it does not, and then nobody can say which part failed.

We document what is there, replace what is holding you back, and separate the traffic that should not mix. Connectivity and phones come from the same plan, so there is one number to ring.

Included As Standard

What’s included as standard

These are not add-ons and they are not a premium tier. Every client gets all of them, because leaving any of them out is how things go wrong.

  • Agreed response targets Every request gets a priority and a target we have agreed with you in writing. We report against those targets whether we hit them or not.
  • A named engineer The same person, who knows your systems, your people and how your week runs. You will have their name before you need it.
  • Proactive patching Operating systems, applications and firmware kept current on a schedule, mostly outside your working hours so nobody loses an afternoon.
  • Monthly reporting What we did, what broke, what we fixed and what is worth watching. Written for a business owner, not for another engineer.
  • Quarterly business review A proper sit-down four times a year. Where your IT is going, what it will cost and what your plans for the business will need from it.
  • Security built in Multi-factor authentication, endpoint protection, monitored backups and staff training come as part of support, not as an upsell.

Getting Started

Moving to us is less disruptive than you think.

We have done this many times. Nothing is switched off until the replacement is tested, and we handle the conversation with your current supplier if that helps.

  1. A conversation Half an hour on what works, what does not and what you are planning. No survey forms and nobody trying to close you.
  2. An audit We document what you actually have, including the things nobody has looked at for years. You keep that document either way.
  3. A written proposal What we would take on, what we would fix first, what it costs each month and what is not included. One page you can act on.
  4. Onboarding We take over in a planned order, usually across two or three weeks, with your existing arrangements still in place until each piece is proven.
